Issue Identification
Help define the policy priorities of the Tampa Bay business community. We will empower you to call attention to legislation on which you feel the Chamber should take a position. Members help create the Legislative Agenda each year when determining what issues to address.
Elected Official Engagement
Foster relationships with elected officials at the federal, state and local level to make certain the opinions of members are known to those key decision makers. Also working with elected officials to get their standpoint on topics and issues that matter most to our members and sharing those perspectives with the entire membership like in our candidate interview video series.

Leadership Tampa
Since 1970, Leadership Tampa has been introducing its class members to the greater Tampa community through an intensive nine-month course, allowing its members to develop an authentic connection to the Greater Tampa area and to foster a commitment to the continuous improvement of the city for future growth and economic prosperity.
Leadership Tampa Alumni
Graduates of the prestigious Leadership Tampa program have ongoing impact and influence through Leadership Tampa Alumni, which provides regular opportunities for members to gain new insights, grow meaningful business relationships and give back to the community.
Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders is a young professional leadership program designed for emerging leaders ages 21 to 35. The program works to impact the business community across the region by providing professional development, networking, and community outreach opportunities for young professionals.
Insight Tampa Bay
Insight Tampa Bay is a leadership program that provides a forum to C-Suite individuals to connect, discuss and explore the issues and concerns that affect business in the Tampa Bay Area. The participants are CEO’s, Presidents or comparable level executives who were recently promoted or located to the Tampa/Hillsborough County market.
Collegiate Leadership
Modeled after the Leadership Tampa Program for business and community leaders, the Collegiate Leadership Program inspires, educates, and engages a diverse group of emerging leaders as they transition from college to career. Collegiate Leadership is a tuition-based, academic-year-long program that prepares a diverse group of student leaders to have a positive impact on their future communities, while they learn extensively about what makes Tampa Bay a favored place to live and work.
