Jill Teeter

Director, Leadership Programs

Jill Teeter is originally from Kansas and moved to the Tampa Bay Area in 2015.

Jill has a background in leadership development and event management. She started her career advising and teaching college students at the University of South Florida where she created a leadership development program, “Leadership for What?”, that focused on connecting leadership to an individual’s passions and purpose. This program was highlighted at the National Association of Campus Activities Conference in 2018.

In her current role Jill oversees Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay, a young professional organization for individuals ages 21-35. With an emphasis on community building, advocacy, and personal/professional development, she works to retain talent in the Tampa Bay area and prepare the future leaders of the community.

Jill received her Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies & Human Ecology from Kansas State University and a Master of Education with an emphasis in College Student Affairs Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida. In her free time, you can find Jill kayaking, playing volleyball, hiking, or searching for the best doughnut shop in town.
