Tampa, FL – November 9, 2017 – Over 200 local professionals attended Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay’s 6th Annual Emerging with Influence event, presented by ChappellRoberts, Depository Trust and Clearing Corp and Leadership Tampa Alumni at TPepin’s Hospitality Centre. The event recognized young professionals in the Tampa Bay community and announced the organization’s 2018 leadership team. Program Vice Chair: Raechel Canipe, DEX Imaging Hub for Business | Professional Development Committee: Chair: Eric Ortiz, McKay Advertising + Activation Vice Chair: Morgan Holmes, USF Catalyst | Public Policy Committee: Chair: Chris Chambers, TECO Vice Chair: Wyatt Krapf, HFF Inclusion | Community Outreach Committee: Chair: Megan Wade, Guardian ad Litem Vice Chair: Josh Wilson, USF Ambassadors: Lucielle Salomon, Lucielle Salomon, LLC Elizabeth Calos, Scytl Amanda Bolli, BDG Architects Brian Lamb, Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Responsibility and Reputation Officer at Fifth Third Bank, was the keynote speaker and shared his insight on becoming involved in the community early in his career and the importance of mentors. Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay also presented the Deanne Dewey Roberts Emerging Leader Award to Aakash Patel of Elevate, Inc. for his service and dedication to the Tampa Bay community and the young professional organization. In addition to the award, a $1000 donation will be made to a charity of Patel’s choice courtesy of ChappellRoberts. The award’s namesake Deanne Roberts was the co-founder of Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay and founder of Tampa ad agency ChappellRoberts, which is the Founding Sponsor of Emerging with Influence. About Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay is a young professional leadership program of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce designed for emerging leaders ages 21 to 35. Stemming from an initiative to recruit and retain talent in the Tampa Bay area, the Chamber’s Board of Directors approved the organization in 2003 and Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay was launched in May 2004.
