During the booster seat distribution event, the first 60 families to arrive at Maher Chevrolet will receive a free booster seat, as long as their child meets the recommended weight and height requirements of the seat. Staff members of the Suncoast Safe Kids Coalition led by All Children’s Hospital will be on hand to help families install the booster seats into vehicles, as well as provide advice on car seat safety. City of St. Petersburg councilman Steve Kornell, Representative Dwight Dudley and staffers from Senator Jeff Brandes' office are also expected to attend the event.
