Senior Director, Strategic Communications and Marketing
Jacquelyn Bryan is the Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at the Tampa Bay Chamber. She moved to the Tampa Bay area after living in New Jersey for over 15 years. Before moving to Florida, she was a 1st Lt in the Air Force, and the Public Affairs Officer at the 108th Wing, at McGuire AFB, NJ. She was a member of the Air Force for over 8 years and started her career as an enlisted customer service representative working in career enhancements and enlistments. She commissioned as an officer after attending Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL. She later attended the Defense Information School in MD, where she received training as a Commissioned Public Affairs Officer. She has been in the Public Affairs and Communications field for over 12 years.
Jacquelyn has a Bachelor’s Degree from Rowan University in Broadcast Journalism, and a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University in Communications and Information Technology. She also has a Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida. Jacquelyn also sits on the University of South Florida’s Digital Marketing Advisory Board and helps to create the curriculum and guidance for undergraduate students. She is also a Committee Member of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council’s Marketing Committee, helping to provide data and insight to further their marketing efforts.
